Fiona Dillon is an Irish Humanist Celebrant who trained with the UK Society of Celebrants. She creates bespoke, enchanting ceremonies for happy couples worldwide, but mostly officiates in Ireland and Spain. As a Humanist, Fiona has no power – only honour and privilege, so if you want a wedding that is legal in the eyes of the law in your country, you most likely will have to visit a Registry Office in advance of your wedding ceremony to take care of the ‘legal’ part of your marriage. After that, you can choose the ceremony of your dreams…!
As a seasoned broadcaster, author and speaker with eight books under her belt, Fiona is more than qualified to write and officiate your bespoke ceremony.
She currently presents her own radio show on CRKC88.7fm.
She earned a Silver Medal for her Freddy Buttons show garden design at Bloom2015 – Ireland’s biggest garden show. This garden launched the first set of Freddy Buttons books and last year, 2018, the book series snapped up a Gold Award in the UK for Best Childrens Book Series. Fiona has contributed to two international award-winning cookery books and her first book, Food From An Irish Garden (Orpen Press 2013) was an Irish best seller.
Fiona is also currently working with Treehouse Republic animation studios to produce the Freddy Buttons TV series.
She has a huge social media following and her positive outlook, passion for both Ireland and Spain (not to mention her great love for her husband, four children, dog, cat and five chickens), have resulted in tens of thousands of followers worldwide.
Writing your bespoke ceremony will be second nature to this award-winning author who values love, honesty and kindness above all else – except cake, cake is right up there with the most important things in her life!
